Continuing Legal Education helps experienced professional paralegals keep current with changing laws and practices.
National Association of Legal Assistants - All Certified Legal Assistants must submit evidence of completion of fifty (50) hours of Continuing Legal Assistant Education every five (5) years, which must include five (5) hours on the subject of legal ethics, to maintain valid certification. National Federation of Paralegal Associations - To maintain the RP credential, 12 hours of continuing legal education is required every two years, with at least one hour in ethics. Check out NFPA's Online CLE courses. NFPA Convention and CLE event offered annually.
